The Eastern Canada Presbytery would like to invite all those serving in diaconal roles in PCA Churches in Eastern Canada to a mini conference on February 27 at Grace Toronto Church. This event is open to ordained deacons, those appointed to assist the deacons and those who serve in other care/mercy roles. Men and women are welcome.

SPEAKER: Robert Blevins

We have invited Robert Blevins to speak and facilitate for the day. Robert is the director of Mercy Ministries for the PCA and has extensive experience in planning, leading and implementing mercy ministries in local churches. He currently lives, worships and works in New York City.

OTHER DETAILS:

This event will coincide with the February presbytery meeting and take place at the same location. Those at the mini conference will join the presbytery meeting for opening devotions, lunch, dinner and a worship service (late afternoon or early evening) and in between will have their own content.

ROUGH SCHEDULE:

  • Opening of Presbytery: 10am – 10:30am
  • Session 1: 10:30-12:30pm
  • Lunch: 12:30pm-1:30pm
  • Session 2: 1:30-3:00pm
  • Session 3: 3:15pm – 4:30pm
  • Dinner and Worship to follow

There is no cost to this event as it has been funded by the presbytery of Eastern Canada.
